6 mil CX006 & 8 mil CX008 Premium Performance Aliphatic Polyurethane

Designed to protect automotive paint and other various surfaces from abrasions and gravel impact; it is offered in two thicknesses: 6 mil (CX006) and 8 mil (CX008).

Two layers of ATPU film-thin, harder top layer and thicker, soft base layer
Supplied with a 2 mil cap sheet that protects the top surface from developing orange peel or other visual defects while in roll form prior to installation
Excellent conformability for ease of installation
Very good stain resistance
Excellent “self-healing” property that allows light scratches/scuffs to disappear in minutes

SafeGUARD™ CX is non-yellowing and has long-term resistance (greater than five years) to UV light exposure and will maintain its class A gloss surface year after year while protecting painted, metal or glass-like surfaces. The film is backed with a high performance, optically clear acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) the allows for easy repositioning and can later be removed without damaging the protected surface.

6.5 mil TC0065 Premium Performance Top-coated Aliphatic Polyurethane

Designed to provide the best combination of overall properties to ensure maximum stain, abrasion, and impact protection to paint and other smooth surfaces; it is offered in one thickness: 6.5 mil (TC0065).

Very thin, harder topcoat layer over softer, bulk layer of ATPU film
Excellent conformability for ease of installation
Excellent stain resistance
