Q. What are the most important factors when choosing paint protection film (PPF) ?


A. There are a multitude of paint protection films on the market. Everything from super premium films, elite grades as well as low grade options. We’ll walk you through all your film options and let you choose the one that best fits your needs.

Q. Can I apply Safeguard™ paint protection film (PPF) to anything other than vehicles?


A. Yes, we have done a number of custom installations for tractor trailers, heavy equipment, farm tractors, boats and RVs. We would be happy to help you protect your paint in any custom application.

Q. How long does the film take to set/cure?


A. Safeguard™ films starts immediately, but will take 48 hours to set with a total cure time of 4-6 days to fully adhere to your paint. The time will vary depending on weather, and temperature. The only limitation during this time period is no washing of the vehicle.

Q. Does the PPF require special care?


A. No, the film can be treated just as any other surface on your vehicle. It is recommended to wax and care for your PPF just as you do your paint.

Q. Are there any chemicals used during the installation process that could harm my vehicle or the environment?


A. No, the only solutions used during installation are standard rubbing alcohol, baby shampoo, and tap water.

Q. Can the film be removed?


A. Yes, when your paint protection film needs to be removed, it will come off without damaging the original manufactured paint.
